Design concepts for a rural Yorkshire garden
Project Brief: Redesign landscaping to accommodate extensive new addition. The client expressed a particular interest in including a special garden feature without restricting vistas. Two solutions to this request are shown below. The one on the left is a redesign of an existing underused pond, creating a sunken garden with waterfall, fountain, rock garden and stone gazebo (not shown) using local stone, to harmonize with regional style.
