10. Long Island Garden Pear Border
Masses of ivy had invaded the front lawn. After removing it, we renovated the lawn, installed a sprinkler system, installed stepped bluestone paths, lighting, built a drystone retaining wall at the edge of the path and planted the circular perennial borders. The "after" photograph was taken one month after planting and so the perennial border has a way to go before it reaches maturity. Before and after shots below:
